"Booked this hotel last minute while traveling for work, it’s really close to the Yankee Stadium, the street it’s on isn’t the cleanest. The hotel is clean nothing luxurious but clean in fact they seem to clean with bleach because the hallway and my room both smelt like bleach to the point that it gave me a headache it was so strong!! There is WiFi, no onsite laundry but there is a laundromat 5min walking distance from the hotel. They have onsite gated parking for $30 per night as an option, which was good or you would have to search for street parking. I didn’t see any sketchy people around, I will add this hotel as my last resort option. "

"The website indicated there were restaurants on the property, there were not ! The bathtub in the shower was VERY slippery I didn't feel comfortable after just having my knee replaced There was no blanket or bed covering, only the top sheet."

"The Lucern was wonderfully located and exceptionally clean. The decor is dated, but pretty. The rooms (we had 2 rooms) were stuffy and the temperature difficult to regulate. We really enjoyed our stay."
