This hotel is peaceful and calm among the bustle of the city which is perfect for a rest after a day exploring. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast is a continental offering with plenty of fresh fruits, pastries, meats and cheeses. Do not expect a cooked element. Would definitely recommend!”

“Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Accademia vaporetto stop. Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works well, though the shower doors could use an upgrade.”

“Finding a room for a family of 5 can be tricky. This place was very comfortable for us! Access was easy after receiving instructions. We enjoyed the quieter part of Venice with quick access to the waterways. Noel is very helpful with his suggestions and directions and cleans the rooms impeccably! “More an Airbnb than a traditional hotel (4 separate suites, we never saw another guest and the staff comes from off site) but very clean and nice, exactly like the photos. Very conveniently located in San Marco and walking distance to everything. The water taxi dropped us off and picked us up at Calle Dose, literally a 2 min walk to the front door. Beautiful bathroom, spacious room, big TV and very cool air. We had a few minor issues but the staff came and fixed immediately. They also offered……

“Annalisa was brilliant with help on WhatsApp and booking water taxis for us. There is a public taxi stop very close as well. This apartment is in a lovely area and had very nice dining very close. There is a grocery steps away if you wanted to cook and the kitchen is well equipped. This is an apartment so you do not get daily cleaning and fresh towels. Clean and freshly updated the only thing missing was a small love seat or chairs in the main room. The 2 kitchen chairs were not good for……

“A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? ”
