“Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Accademia vaporetto stop. Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works well, though the shower doors could use an upgrade.”

“Near by several docks so it is easy for water bus transportation. Staff are friendly and nice. Breakfast is very good. Beds are comfortable. Room is not big and enough to stay. We would like to come back again. ”

“I enjoyed the self check in process, very quick and easy. We held onto the key our entire stay and it felt very safe there. While the self check in limits staff exposure, we still stayed in contact with the hotel through out our stay and ran into staff every morning on our way out, he was very friendly and helpful! Room was perfect as a couple, and the bathroom was lovely! Quiet neighborhood as well with charming restaurants and cafes near by.”

“A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Venice! I’m so glad I found this lovely place in the center of Venice! The Design Apartment at B&B Fortuny pleasantly surprised us with its size and comfort. In Europe—and especially in Venice, where every extra square meter is a luxury—it’s rare to find such a spacious apartment (about 70 sq. meters!). “The rooms are excellent, spacious, and extremely clean. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help and accomodate. The hotel is fairly close to the city center and a couple of good food options 5 mins away. I would honestly recommend this stay!”

“A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? ”
