We booked the place to prep for a trip to Isle Royale which was only 40ish minutes away, and could still easily zip back over to Houghton for lots of restaurants and neat things to do."

We hosted a dinner one night with another family and it had a very well stocked and spacious kitchen, very comfortable accommodations, super clean and away from the hustle and bustle of Houghton during Grad weekend but only about 15 minutes from campus.
