"Very well-stocked home in a beautiful setting. It was very private and lovely to see the whales out in the water. Bald eagles floated past the big bay windows and there is lovely hiking just minutes away. The beds and bedding are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook, and there are a few places close to go for supplies. There are 43 steps down to the front door through a series of 5 staircases. If you have any mobility issues, this would be a difficult stay. "

Every detail has been carefully considered, from the stylish coastal décor to the cozy, comfortable furnishings that made it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn’t have been more perfect-right on the beach. The outdoor space had plenty of seating, a grill for cookouts and a fire pit to toast marshmallows for s'mores. We loved listening to the waves and watching the waves crash right up on the break. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the open-concept layout made it easy for everyone to gather together. The bedrooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The house is close enough to Stanwood and Cama Beach to be convenient to restaurants and stores, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private.Communication with the host was seamless. They were responsive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience.This vacation rental truly stands out. "The house is really nice with beautiful views. However, It was a little disappointing that a pet friendly house had a gate in the backyard that wouldn’t close. We tied it up and blocked the gaps to make it work. "

"The room was clean, but one of the most spartan rooms I've ever stayed in, particularly for the cost, considering there wasn't a dresser, barely a closet, places to put soap at the sink or in the shower, or even a towel rack. We saw a couple of the housekeeping staff a few minutes for the two days we were there. Their bistro was closed, so we needed to find dining. We had the best luck finding food in Stanwood, but the only table in our room was the iron set on the patio. It's February. Too cold to comfortably eat outside. The hot tub was broken. It's Valentine's day weekend and that was the reason we booked this room. We mentioned it to the staff. Never saw them again. Not a terrible place to stay, but once is enough for me."
