“We had a wonderful time staying here for a week while house hunting in Anchorage. The one bedroom apartment was cozy and beautifully decorated. I loved the fireplace was automatically running to maintain the set temperature. We very much enjoyed the view especially at night when the city lighted up in dark. We rented an AWD and got stuck once in slush but Windy and her husband helped us to get uphill. We appreciated their help!”

“This cabin was amazing! From the location to the decor. We chose it because of how close it is to Alyeska. It did not disappoint. It was the perfect rustic mountain log cabin feel with more than enough amenities. From the 2 soaking jet tubs to the game meat store next door. Theres peacocks that roam the property, even in winter were a pleasant surprise. It's secluded with a view. The host was very responsive and able to help us with a couple special requests. 11/10, would recommend! ”

“Very clean. They were remodeling the second floor. I stayed on the third. My only complaint was that there were no kitchen utensils, dishes or pots. I assumed they would be available, since there was a kitchenette available. I only stayed one night and did not call the front desk. But they should disclose this before booking. Also no shower gel in container. But I loved the room and staff.”

“The stay was great, everything look very nice clean. The entryway needs to be swept and mopped, and the floor seems stickie to us, but everything was just beautiful brand new apartment. Would a stay again.”

“The walls must be thin or the people on our floor were noisy. It was hard to keep out child sleep due to people laughing and talking until almost midnight. Additionally, the lack of door to the bathroom/shower made it a challenge to put and keep our son asleep. While we love the loft feeling we don’t recommend it if you have a child that needs the quiet to fall asleep.”

“We had a great stay here! Although I do recommend changing your picture on Expedia to something else so people don’t think they are getting that cute mini cabin(false advertising), one other thing I have to mention is the check out time! Understandable that it’s 10 am, but when there’s no employees on site to assist with minor issues (we left a bag in the room and had to card/break in) then there’s no need to have it be at 10am. Other then those two minor things lady in bar was very kind &can……

“The staff in the hotel is really nice. But I didn't expect the noise of airplane is so loud and the vehicle noise from street is loud too. The sound insulation can be improved. ”

“The room was very clean...But needs either a comfy love couch or a couple lounge chairs. Fold-up chairs are uncomfortable to sit in at any length or time. The outside entrance could look so nice by hiring a gardener to clean up aroun the storage sheds.”

“The manager John is really nice and takes good care of you. There are plenty of motels in the area, but you just can't beat the price for this one. I've stayed here 3 times since I've been on my camping trip in Alaska and I've always been comfortable. This motel is like a coss between a hostel and an inn. There is no breakfast served, but there is a common kitchen for cooking. Not all the rooms have bathrooms in them, for some if the rooms you have to use the bathrooms in the hall. The beds……

“Usually a convenient place to stay--clean, spacious, quiet. Staff is friendly. Hotel has been doing some much needed renovation. Some room furniture needs repair or replacement. Wifi on my last stay was not working well at all.”
