No lobby to hang out when you have free time. One very small bar. Small pool bar and pool area, very crowded. Not what vip gets you, I didn’t get anything. Staff was good. Only 2 girls for check in so it took quite awhile. Had to call to get mini bar filled with waters. Couldn’t get into habachi restaurant even though we made reservations on app. So we won’t be going back.

This property was gorgeous, you have all access to Dreams Resort next door which is family resort but huge grounds and pretty too! Its a lot to explore, the area is split up into sections they drive you on golf carts around to where you'd like to go. We went to the Brazilian Gaucho restaurant twice it was so good! Stock up on mosquito repellant but they have sprays they offer. Watch out for the front desk at check in, theyll rope you into visiting and "touring" the new hotel 20 minutes away. It wasnt a tour at all, but a sales pitch in order to sell their membership/timeshare. It wasted half of our first day, dont make that mistake. Food was good, no complaints. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was so pleasant, entertainment team works hard. Im not normally a pool girly, but these pools were shaped so cool and different than others, also clean and relaxing. Overall great resort, highly recommend!

The hotel was great, service was great in the room, the pool and beach area. The cons are, the can beers at the beach bar where never cold only a bit cool, unlike at the pool that where very cold all the time. The Cafe at Secrets Akumal was open 24 hrs, not at Secrets Playa Mujeres. The daily pool events were a bit boring and repetitive. Since I booked I requested a surprise for my wife since it was our wedding anniversary and my wife's bday, I asked at check-in, I even called 2 days later and requested it again and we never got anything.

I love everything except that during dinner or any activity in the pool you have to buy a bottle if you want to get your own table and for a very expensive price if you don’t buy this you can’t have your own table and will seat where the stuff assigned you too , if I travel I travel to have privacy and a good time with my couple or familia members , for a hotel at this level this should Be managed different.

Stayed 6 days and enjoyed everything about it. The staff was amazing, especially Felix and Antonio. They ensure you are having a great time and never once fail to smile! They take their time to remember your names which is amazing with all the people coming and going. Food was good. Our Favorites were Italian and Japenese. The hotel area is very secluded so the store prices in the hotel are beyond expensive and so was the spa. Overall, it's a hotel we would definitely go back to.

Secrets playa mujeres is absolutely beautiful, the pools are amazing , some of the buildings need remodeling ( hotel said next year in April they will be closed as they are going to remodel ) the rooms were clean , very nice ! The beach is absolutely stunning ! Will definitely be coming back ! Ulises , Carlos , Antonio , Juan and Bryan all part Of the entertainment deserve a recognize , they were always so welcoming to us and made our stay so fun !!
