「The house was beautiful- set in peaceful surroundings. The infinity pool overlooking the valley was stunning. All furnishings and appliances were top quality. We are a professional couple who were working remotely for a week and this place suited us perfectly. Visitors should be aware it is a little off the beaten track as are many of the most beautiful properties in Costa Rica but the property managers are knowledgeable and can be helpful in planning activities and excursions.」

「The main bed was small for two adults and the resort itself was a bit run down. The tennis courts and pool were not usable. The kitchen had a good supply of pans, utensils, and kitchen tools. The area itself was super quiet.」

「David is an amazing host, and his Villa is outstanding. We felt like we were on a resort, but didn’t have to spike a chair by the pool at 6 am. David went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. My Wife, Sister and Brother-in-Law spent 4 weeks, and the place was perfect for our longer term stay. Property manger looked after the yard, and made sure pool was clean, and BBQ always had propane! Thanks to Justino! We’ll be back David!」

「As a family of 3 adults, we enjoyed our stay at Roy's guest house. We chose it in part for its more rural setting though it is very close to town. We had hoped to use the large pool and hiking trails at the Adventist camp next door, but it was closed due a large event they were holding. 「Me senti como en un vuelo de avianca...que segun yo pague primera clase y me dieron clase de turista...ni siquiera las 24 hrs....porque si ud quiere entrar a la habitacion tiene que esperar hasta las 4 pm, pero puede pagar mas para que le den la habitacion antes...y luego hacer check out a las 12 medio dia...donde desde las 10 am le estan diciendo vayase....que esperiencia tan fea..」

「The room and property are clean and so well kept! Loved the pool and cabanas, a small oasis! The breakfast was perfect! Jose and Rachel at the front desk, as well as the servers and kitchen staff were all great! We’ll definitely visit in the future! Pura vida!」

「The room was excellent and modern. Views from the balcony beautiful. Front desk staff was not welcoming except for Brittany, who was very helpful. Others wouldn't even look up at us or acknowledge us. The restaurant food and service was very good. Location is a bit far from any services, so have a car or expect to take taxis to anything.」

「I stayed in the Deluxe Room and it was clean and spacious. The property was clean and the staff all were pleasant and cheerful. The property sits right on the beach, however Jaco sand is rough, this has nothing to do with the property. The location was in the middle of town and walkable to mostly all shops and restaurants.」

「The view was incredible! I could spend four days by the pool. It was great to have the shuttle (4x4) to the beach. It is not a swimming beach at all, but it is great for watching the waves and reading a book. Drinks were delicious, though the good was hit or miss. (The tuna tartare was incredible; the seafood platter was a sad disappointment.) The staff were very kind and helpful and there was yoga on the weekends with a transcendent view.」
