“This house was my favorite stay in Costa Rica! It was so cozy and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The hosts were great to work with, it was clean, and had everything we needed like towels and wash clothes, soap, AC in every room was so nice for each person to decide how they wanted to sleep. My favorite part of this house was the pool and yard! It is 100% worth its stay! I would go there just to hang out in the yard. The lighting and secure fencing in the yard made us feel safe too!……

“We would highly recommend Villa Maria!The house was in a fantastic location, we could easily walk to town, sodas, restaurants and El Salto. It was clean and we felt very safe. The birds were amazing and the views of Arenal when the clouds are away is just unreal. The communication of the property manger was fantastic. They also helped set up transportation and an excursion. They were fast to respond and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for your trip to La Fortuna. We were 6 adults with 7……

“Great house, a short walk to LaFortuna town center with all the amenities you would need -- Groceries, restaurants and souvenirs. House worked well for our family of 7. Kitchen stocked with decent pots, dishes and cooking utensils. Pool provides a nice break after a day of touring. Property pictures accurately represent house. Listing states no a/c in living area. Additional cooling in those spaces would make the property even better ”

“What an incredible stay for my family and I in La Fortuna. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the AC's in the room were cold. The house host was very kind and available for anything we needed. The pool area was clean and we spent every night lounging around enjoying the sounds of nature. We had 5 people and had more than enough room. One of the best VRBO's I've stayed in. I have zero complaints. The remote gate to enter definitely made if feel completely safe. Close enough to……

“Absolutely beautiful property. Close enough to the small take of El Tanque to walk over to the grocery/fruit/meat markets, but large enough and secluded enough to feel like you're truly in the jungle. Staff was always ready to help, especially the gardener who was very friendly. Highly recommend you take him up on his small "tour" of the property (some small amount of Spanish fluency will be helpful here). Saw tons of birds, lizards, etc on the property. Pool and hot tub were delightful……

The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and the air-conditioning in each bedroom worked well. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary dishes. The pool was beautiful and we felt safe! We would come back to this location and would highly recommend!!”
