“The Oaks Waterfront was exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. Tucked away in a quiet, secluded setting, it feels like you’re escaping from everything, yet St. Michaels is only a short ride away thanks to their beautiful shuttle. It really gives you the best of both worlds. What stood out most to us was the family-owned and operated feel. Breakfast consisted of a hot prepared meal, was delicious. The inn keeper was not very welcoming and inviting. The next morning he did not acknowledge us when we said, “good morning.” It doesn’t take much to be pleasant……

Physical security is very good: our room had a deadbolt lock, and the front door had an automatic deadbolt with a keypad on the outside for access. I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast……

“We had a wonderful stay in the Captain’s Quarters. It was super clean, well located (a short walk to the maritime museum and the “main drag” in St. Michaels”), and the hosts were friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations. We’ll be back!”
