"The hotel is in a historic building so the outside is older and the rooms were smaller; however, the comfort and service were as good as it gets. Ivette at the front desk allowed us to check in early, and we were grateful because we had a very early flight. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. One of the best aspects was the daily breakfast - cheesy omelets, biscuits and gravy, freshly ground and brewed coffee. The location was about 5 blocks to the riverwalk, two blocks from the historic Mexican market and one block from the Spanish governor's palace. I found this hotel to be a great value. "

"Elevator broke after first night had to use stairs to 4th floor loaded with luggage not fun "
