"This hotel has all the luxuries one would expect from a chain like Mercure. The building is huge, at times feeling like a set for the film ‘Shining’. It is not for me, simply because it has no soul, no character or style. The fittings are cheap, the vibe a bit large group holidays. Spa is accessible with a 30 euro fee."

"The accommodation was clean, comfortable and really unique. The hosts were very accessible and accommodating. We went to dinner in town, walking distance to the tower. We had a great stay and enjoyed the uniqueness of the property."

"The property is remote and peaceful with a lovely garden. We enjoyed the fireplace… very cozy in the fall. As noted by other guests, the road is primitive but we did not have any problems with access. A short commute to Montalcino for wine tasting. "
