“Really clean rooms. Really well maintained property. The room was pre-cooled. Bathrooms were really clean and spacious. The roof top had the best view of the island and the water. 2 min walking distance from water taxi terminal. 10 min walking to the split. Really glad I picked this hotel.”

“We had an amazing stay at Caye Caulker Barefoot Hotel! The entire property felt like a peaceful, relaxing oasis—spotlessly clean, quiet, and wonderfully comfortable. The front desk staff was exceptional, welcoming us warmly and making sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to all the local spots, beach, and the overall atmosphere and amenities made for a perfect stay. Highly recommend!”

“We booked this property primary because it had a swim up bar on the beach. Well, the book pool was closed for repair on arrival with no notice and all we got was a sorry. I would have booked else where had I know the pool was closed.”

“Property definitely needs some plumbing work. Shower in the room was barely working, the shower by the pool was in better condition than the one in the room. Toilet would barely flush, mind you, you are not allowed to flush the toilet paper....”

“This hotel is old and needs updated. Nothing like the pictures in the photo . No elevators and stairs are not manageable especially after a long day of walking around the island. You have to ask for everything including towels. The rooms are dark and cold. No view except to a dirty yard space between buildings. If you are just using it to sleep then this is the hotel for you. It does not feeling like a vacation room on the cayes. Not worth the cost. Very disappointed will never stay here again.……

“I don't recommend unless your fine with basic amenities. Building is old to old for my taste and need alot of upgrading. Room was quite old and dusty, I didn't want to to touch shower curtains and I wore slides in shower. Bed was not comfortable and I was glad I brung a small blanket to cover my pillow. AC was ok but not as cold as expected. I had baby geckos running around my room. No pool, but they do have bikes you can borrow. Overpriced for what its worth. Staff was nice.”

“Lovely hosts! Everything you need for a comfortable, safe and independent stay on Caye Caulker. We had the room on the top floor, with a King bed, SPACIOUS private bathroom, our own fridge and patio, plus easy access to the main communal patio and kitchen. Lots of great local recommendations provided. Easy, complimentary access to bicycles and a small pool. The dogs are friendly. This is the PERFECT place to stay for folks like us who enjoy a quiet retreat away from the "busy" zone and we……
