“Great hotel staff, beautiful hotel, Lookout rooftop bar/restaurant was wonderful, best bedding/mattress ever. The thing that gave me the ick was the hairs around the edges of the shower floor. I couldn't request a new room/hotel at this point as I was in a hurry getting ready for a wedding and it was the 2nd night before i noticed this, but that and lack of vacuuming around the beds... just gross. Also, I got a "river view" room that we literally had to turn our necks to see the river past the……

“Across the street from the Alabama Baseball Stadium. The Legend restaurant in the hotel needs a little work on the food. Staff was good but food no. ”

“Like staying at the Doubletree, one thing I don't like is the $50 per night they charge me for a deposit, I am a long standing Hilton Honors member, I've been to many locations, never destroyed or taken anything that doesn't belong to me, and they still don't trust me. I think charging me a deposit is totally unnecessary. ”

“We love the SoHo area of Birmingham and have stayed at Aloft multiple times. Love that it is dog friendly and there are great restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, the property (floors, rooms) are getting a little “tired.””

“It was an ok stay for just one night. Staff friendly and fun! The hallway of our floor (8th) had a funky smell which was not the best start however you could tell when we came back from dinner that night hotel was attempting to make it smell better — honestly thought someone must’ve been smoking weed in the hallway. ”
