“We had a great stay. Check in and communication was easy. Due to storm damage, our original booked cottage was not available and Deb offered us a different (much larger) home without added cost. We greatly appreciated it so we didn't have to cancel our vacation. The home was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. The area is beautiful and the beach was very clean. You cannot beat the views from the home. We look forward to staying here again!”

I pay attention to the details.The home had a three night minimum.The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. “Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. “We went to Maine for a wedding and needed a place to stay when in town. We found this gem 💎 in the listings. It was available and looked like it had plenty of character for us. It was everything we were looking for, clean , neat and off the beaten path. The lake is beautiful, the grocery 7 minutes away on the other end of the lake was equally as amazing! Everything you can think of! We didn’t have the weather to enjoy the lake, but the calming that took place because of the atmosphere was……

“My husband and I stayed here in for several nights and really enjoyed our time. It's a very cute guest cottage close to the main downtown. Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable bed, and quiet. Nice amenities, such as a fan, record player, wine/bottle opener & glasses, kitchen supplies, plenty of blankets, and designated parking spot. It was also very nice having a fenced backyard available for us. Highly recommend this charming cottage!”

“We stayed here for a fall wedding in Winterport. Cabin was great for my family and loved being closer to Belfast. The rocky beach in front of cabin is great to explore. We found the place to be very clean and the mattresses to be comfortable. It’s a quick 5 minute drive to town. We would stay here again!”

“This was a perfect getaway for us. The home was lovely and very clean. Had everything we could need/want including a sweet welcome gift from the owners. Home is exactly as described and pictured. Location is convenient to everything in the area. We gave 4 stars for location only because we couldn't walk the neighborhood as there aren't sidewalks and it's a somewhat busy road. But having said that there are endless trails and paths everywhere to walk. We visited a different one every day and……

“Beautiful home that is a great proximity to Boothbay Harbor downtown. The pond is very nice but the water level was very low during our stay in March and there were no boats available as described in the listing. It is unclear whether this is something to note for all offseason travelers”

“This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. ”

“Great views. House pretty clean & supplies were fine except only 3 coffee cups for 6 adults. VACasa said they would get more cups. They failed, never received. Some lights didn't work & lots of dead bugs in light fixtures.”
