"It is great brand name in hospitality, but the facility is not very well run. During our short stay earlier this month we encountered issues and difficulties we normally did not expect in a Hilton hotel: At our check in, we were assigned to a room at the farthest end of the building, even though we are seniors; at our request, staff changed the room for us but this time we found the water did not go down in the drain and it could be fixed right away; so we had to change room again about 11:00 pm but found lots of dust on the air conditioner - apparently someone repaired the dry wall there yet forgot to clean the area. This is not all: the elevator close to our room stopped working right the next day and remained closed by time we checked out; also it is very surprising there's only one coffee maker in lobby and it is there mostly for morning hours. No complimentary hot water for tea in lobby, no lemonade or ice water either."

"We we unaware that the place was under construction, so bar and breakfast area were closed. Not sure if they were in the process of putting up or dismantling a water slide, but they could've done a better job keeping the area cleaner. One of our rooms bathroom fan would NOT shut off. When we reported it to the front desk, the lady brushed us off and said they've already had maintenance check it out several times, and maintenance could not figure out why it wasn't working. Very annoying when trying to sleep or relax. My mom's room had moldy blankets and staff took forever to vome and change them and get the dirty ones out of the room. Very disappointed in Sonesta. I expected much better. Other staff were very nice, however. "

"The Marvo Hotel is well located, making it convenient for getting around the area and accessing nearby attractions. However, the stay was not as comfortable as expected. The room was poorly insulated, and I could clearly hear road noise throughout the night, which made it difficult to rest. Overpriced for the value that it has to offer Additionally, the room temperature was hard to manage, and I was unable to cool it down adequately. While the location is a strong point, improvements in insulation and climate control would significantly enhance the overall experience."

"The main reason i had booked my stay at this property was due to all the wonderful reviews. Front desk staff was nice, he seemed new but still got me checked in without incident. Im not from the area so I relyed heavily on the actual reviews. I had gone down to the pool area from some relaxation. The pool temperature nearly matched the "hot tubs" water temperature. The front desk staff had come into the area and asked myself and other guests if the water was hot. When attempting to turn the jets on for the hot tub, they never fully engaged. They started and then stopped immediately. Spent only 20 minutes or so in the pool area. Went up to my room to shower, there was still a dirty washcloth hanging in thr shower. I ended up leaving and staying in my vehicle that evening. Very disappointing but thankful i didn't pay much for the room. It was far from the relaxing night i had planned. "
