「Sean, We had the best year of fishing in over a decade. The property is awesome, and access to the water is easy. One silly item would be more hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Also, I wasn't sure how to turn on the baseboard heater in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom and left the door open.」

「We had a wonderful time, in spite of rain. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. It was literally less than a quarter of a mile to the hiking trails. Our dogs were very comfortable as well. One caveat. If you are coming in via RT. 209, do not turn off of Pine Kill Rd onto David Rhodes rd. Apparently GPS thinks you can go through, but it puts you on a dead end road. If you stay on Pine Kill, it will eventually route you the right way.」

My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience.」

「We had a great time staying here with a group of friends. The house is new construction and the A-frame adds some interesting architectural features. Appliances are new and everything is clean. Really had no complaints. Wi-Fi is a bit spotty and the road to the house is not paved but was fine on the car, just need to drive slowly. Bring all groceries with you on the way in as there Arent any major stores nearby which is sort of the point! Close to swinging bridge reservoir for boat rentals and...

Home was very clean with all the amenities. Shelly was an excellent host and immediately available for any questions or concerns. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!」

「Cute little place. Easy check-in and good communication with the host. We were not aware that there would be no towels, so bring your own if you stay here. The front door is weird and three of us pinched our fingers in the door. Also, the water smells a little funny. We had no cell phone service here, but the WiFi worked great.」
