    Welcome to The SpringHouse, a beautifully restored historic Charleston residence where timeless architecture meets elevated modern design. Located in the heart of downtown Charleston, this exclusive two-level retreat occupies the second and third floors of the home, offering a unique blend of historic character, contemporary comfort, and thoughtfully curated bohemian-inspired interiors.



    The Space:

    Rich heart pine floors, warm textures, and carefully selected furnishings create an inviting atmosphere throughout the home. The spacious open-concept living room and kitchen provide the perfect gathering place for your group, whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast before exploring the city or relaxing together after a day spent discovering Charleston's celebrated restaurants, boutiques, and historic landmarks.



    In addition to three generously sized bedrooms, the home features a dedicated workspace for remote work and a charming private reading nook complete with a daybed. This cozy retreat offers the perfect spot to unwind with a good book, enjoy a quiet morning coffee, or provide additional sleeping accommodations when needed.

With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



    Getting Around:

    You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



    Other Things to Note:

    Located on the second and third floor of a renovated historic charleston home.



    Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!



    Please note that the parking spot is a 5-minute walk away.

Our stay was unacceptable and far below expectations, with multiple serious safety and security concerns.We were approached by an unknown individual attempting to access the unit without notice, which was alarming as three women staying alone. Even worse, another group of guests was mistakenly given access and entered our unit with their luggage—an unacceptable breach of privacy and security.Communication was poor throughout. Parking instructions were unclear, and checkout times were conflicting with no timely clarification. We never spoke to the owner directly, only through a virtual assistant, which made resolving issues difficult.There were also problems with the property itself. The upstairs shower had extremely low water pressure, making it unusable and forcing us all to use the main floor shower. Additionally, the unit is on a very busy street, and large trucks rattled the windows at night, making it noisy and disruptive to sleep.The only redeeming quality was the daytime neighborhood, with a great vibe, cute coffee shops, and good restaurants nearby.While we understand mistakes happen, these issues went beyond typical inconveniences and significantly impacted our stay. We were offered a 30% refund, later increased to 50% (690 of a 2000 stay), but we believe a 75% refund—or even a full refund—is justified.We will not return and cannot recommend this property.
