"Well, the staff are nice, but it doesn't make a difference in the rating. The hotel itself is run down. The room is pathetic, a really sad place to come back to after a day in the sun. And the bugs and bites on your feet and ankles, horrible. So we barely hung out at the hotel itself. We only booked 2 nights because we were apprehensive about being able to sleep without AC and not knowing the bathroom facilities however we are already dying to go back. "The cabin was well-equipped, even luxurious, with a great view. Esmeralda, our cook and staff person, couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The grounds are peaceful with great bird watching.
