Property is located one level up from the street, in an older multiple-dwelling unit building that has converted to condominiums. It faces a busy and noisy commercial avenue, and the older windows block little of the noise. Additionally, the windows have older blinds but no curtains, so it gets quite bright in the morning. Also, heavy curtains would help dampen some of the street noise. The bathroom is older and (badly) needs remodeling, but was clean. The kitchen was quite well appointed, and the unit had plenty of closet space. The owner/operators provided coffee but no tea. The steps up are steep, as was standard in older buildings; but door was heavy older wood but didn't block any of the noise in the stairwell. It could also use a modern lock, but what it had was adequate. Basically, "adequate" describes this unit reasonably well. It's not great, and the owner/operators have done little to mitigate the problems caused by its location. But for a short weekend stay (which Is all I needed) during which little time will be spent, there, then it's fine.
