“Just back from a wonderful 2 night stay at The Old Forge Chapel. Our lovely cosy room in the converted chapel was beautifully clean, with a bed that was so comfortable we could have stayed in it all day! Lots of thoughtful little touches like a Nespresso machine, straighteners and hairdryer. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk-so much nicer than UHT rubbish! Breakfast was fabulous-freshly cooked to order. Teresa and David are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be……

“This B& B has a bus stop right outside so is firstly ideal if you are using public transport. You can catch the bus to West Wittering beach and Chichester. It is a very short walk away from Bracklesham Bay and amenities and a lovely Italian restaurant. The owners are very friendly and thoughtful when it comes to your room,toiletries provided and breakfast. A lovely stay-would highly recommend it as somewhere to stay.”

“What a lovely place to stay. Our room was big, very comfortable and so clean. So many thoughtful touches were also provided. Breakfast, freshly made to order was tasty and plentiful. My only negative - we couldn’t stay longer!”

“Nach etwas Suche, das Haus ist an der Straße nicht beschildert, wurden wir herzlich begrüßt. Das Haus ist ein altes, nett renoviertes Farmhaus. Unser Zimmer "en suite" war sehr geräumig, ebenso das Bad. Das Alter des Hauses bedingt Gegebenheiten, die man eben akzeptieren muss, z.B. knarrende Dielenböden, umständlich zu öffnende Fenster, tiefe Teppichböden Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend, auf Wunsch wurde ein "full english breakfast" serviert. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, vielleicht standen……

“Extremely pleasant stay the staff were friendly and efficient, The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. The only minor issue was the lighting by the mirrors we found inadequate for getting ready for a wedding and it would have be nice to have a full length mirror. Breakfast wad great and will certainly stay again. Many thanks for making our stay most enjoyable.”

“Over the years I had driven past and thought how attractive it looked and intended to stay. The setting and interior exceeded my expectations. The view of the gardens and village from our room was gorgeous. Similarly the bar and restaurant were beautifully decorated and quintessentially English. The staff in reception and restaurant were friendly and highly professional.”

“A lovey hotel and certainly at the top end of the market, the room was lovely, the bathroom was small but modern. The free Gin is a nice touch! The spa looked special but didn’t use, however the restaurant was excellent. Would definitely return.”
