「Front desk staff day and night are a great group of people. The rooms could be a little cleaner in the corners but overall fairly clean. Breakfast was well stocked and had something for everyone. Food was tasty. Of course you do need to season to your tastes but that is expected. Breakfast overall great. The pool was nice. The only issue was with kids not leaving when adult only swim came. They were with a very large group so I am guessing staff may not have felt comfortable trying to enforce. 」

「Property is an older building and within walking distance of the Southbridge Mall and Hockey arena. Although the mall doesn't have much in it anymore. Parking lot was well lit at night and staff was helpful. Room was clean and ready for arrival, but it had a bit of a stale musty smell. Refrigerator and microwave in room worked fine. For the lower cost and just needing a place to crash at night it worked fine. If you want a place with more frills and amenities this would not fit that expectation....

「It looked as though the hotel was in the process of a remodel. I believe I received a room which was finished. It was quite comfortable and beautiful. I did have a little trouble climbing into the bed. I'm on the short side, and I literally had to pull myself into the bed.」

「We were displaced for a few days due to home improvement project. Our stay was very comfortable during the time we were there. Management and staff were always available for our needs/wants. Breakfast bar provided each morning was good and well stocked. 」

「Never ever take this hotel.....it's the most disgusting hotel that we ever stay before!! I even got itching after sat on the couch! By the way, we'ad booked for 4 nights for 2 rooms , but the front desk sent us an invoice and asked us to check-out (paid everything upfront)on the 4th morning; although we're more than happy to leave it, but who is going to return me the difference?」

「We had a lovely stay at the Decker House B & B. Cynthia prepared a gourmet breakfast in time for us to make our early morning tour of Mason City sites. Perfectly located a block from our starting point at the library, near the Meredith Wilson childhood home and museum and a few blocks from the Frank Lloyd house and museum. Beautiful interior living room and dining areas. We stayed in the master suite Magnolia room on the top floor. Well appointed room with nice jacuzzi tub and sizable...

This property has been beautifully appointed and equipped with the latest technology - from check in to check out, the WIFI, the TVs, the Sonos speakers. Loved the renovations. The family could bond with games, food, walks, bike rides, getting out on the lake and just hanging out. Highly recommend.」
