St. Petersburg - Clearwater Coachman Park Hotels

"Definitely returning. Amazing hospitality from the moment you drive up. Food choices could be better at the poolside bar, while food at ocean hai was very yummy, just expensive. all very worth it. Walking distance to pier 60 and many boat tours. Private beach chairs are such a nice perk with reasonable, optional, upgrades. We had the best time. "

"Loved this hotel. So close to beach and shops. Restaurant/bar was great. Pool and hot tub great. Room was perfect. Had built in bunk bunk beds for kids. Highly recommend. "

"Overall it was a great location. The pool and beach were really nice, but I don’t think you should have to pay to use the chairs on the beach when you’re already paying quite a bit to stay on the beach. They should be included. The hotel itself was clean, but the floor in our room seemed rather dirty. Our socks were black when wearing them in the room. The toilet would make a gurgling sound sometimes in the middle of the night and the a/c would make clicking noises throughout the night at times. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff were really nice. Great views of the water from our room facing the beach, but didn’t expect to have a big red roof blocking our view of the pool and beach. When outside, there is a resort a couple hotels down that plays loud music, but with the balcony doors closed it was pretty quiet. "

"Great location! We were lucky enough to have a room that faced the sunset. It also had a little kitchenette setup, 2 burners, sink, plates etc. Nice amenities, near public transportation and restaurants. I was unhappy that the deadbolt would not engage the door frame & the door was too low to put a wedge alarm under the door. We brought it up to the manager he brushed it off. The electrical outlet/ light switch in bath was loose & ceiling was peeling."

"Pool is freezing . Infestation of bugs. Hotel layout is awful . Rooms need updating . "

"Restrooms don’t have vents , so good luck if you’re not alone in your room"

"Very disappointed, had bugs coming through gaps in the door & windows. False advertised queen bed, only got a double which wasn’t the comfiest!! On a positive the bathroom was adequate with toiletries provided. Good coffee machine with coffee etc provided "

"TIKI BAR ON THE BEACH WAS NICE TO ENJOY A NICE SUNSET. SERVICE WAS GOOD. BEACH VIEW WAS OK, SIDE VIEW OF THE GULF FROM OUR ROOM. ROOM WAS AVERAGE, NOTHING SPECIAL. GOT LOCKED OUT IN OUR BALCONY, HAD TO CALL THE FRONT DESK FOR MAINTENACE TO COME AND OPEN THE SLIDING DOOR. THE FRAME ON THE DOOR WAS BENT AND THAT IS WHY WE COULD NOT OPEN IT."

"Our third stay at Opal Sands. Property is immaculate, everyone is so helpful and friendly. Food is amazing and love the pool. Will be back. "
