Wir wurden von Dave und Tonny herzlich an der Tür empfangen, solange Tonny uns Sekt einschenkte, trug Dave unsere Koffer hoch. Die beiden waren Stewards in der First &Business class namhafter Airlines. Und sie wie sie damals ihre Gäste on Boarding verwöhnt hatten, und genau so verwöhnen sie ihre B&B Gäste. Beide...

「Lovely stay, just a few yards from the sea front. Lisa and Christophe made us feel very welcome. The swimming pool was great and just what you need after a long drive or busy day around Torbay. The breakfasts we enjoyed each morning were delicious and kept us full throughout the day. Would definitely return and highly recommend a stay at the lovely Charterhouse if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay.」

「We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay which is why we booked again this year. The breakfast is good and the communal areas including bar area and gym were excellent. However the cleaning of our room was substandard and this spoiled our stay. Unfortunately we won't stay here again.」

「The spa was very nice and clean, but the hotel itself could do with some updating. Had to run the shower for 15-20 minutes to get any hot water, the bathroom needed a good clean, some staff in dining room at breakfast and cleaning staff very nice, rest need to learn to smile more. Food by pool ok but chilli 🌶 very watery as though had been defrosted, not what I expected from a 3 star hotel」

「Lovely, spacious rooms, environment considered (no silly plastic cups/shower caps). I saw the pool and jacuzzi water being tested twice whilst we were there. Only thing was that we had to pay for parking, but that was because we booked with a third party. Book with hotel. Breakfast lovely, maybe a few more pastry/bread choices needed.」

「Great welcome, lovely room with luxury extras like chocolate and toiletries. Hosts were so helpful, I struggled with the heat so they ensured our room was kept cool and gave me a beach brolly to use. The location was good, not too near centre but an easy 20 minute walk to the seafront and shops. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were fab, will definitely be returning.」
