“A very friendly welcome and staff were always ready to help my partially disabled wife. The meals were excellent and well planned. The hotel was very welcoming and felt homely with such Georgian/ Victorian style .”

“The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked.”

“Room was bright and clean. Breakfast was fine. Location was good. Unfortunately there was an awful damp smell from the bathroom that permeated the whole bedroom. I was only there for a night so i didn't complain, but it's in need of some maintenance.”

“Excellent room with air conditioning which was a boon. Facilities were also excellent. Breakfast was good and parking on the premises. Would stay there again.”

The kitchen was okay but missing many things like bowls, poorly equipped. Entrance was unlit, making later arrival difficult as unable to see entrance and unable to enter code. Cleaning……

“All fine”

“Hotel muy bien ubicado”

“Everything was ok,”

“Nice hotel with a great location on Brayford. The staff are helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, good breakfast. Only downside is that if you get a connecting room you can hear everything in the next door room!”

“A truly lovely stay at a homely pub that was superb value for money, the staff were very helpful & friendly, will definitely visit again when in the area .”
