“Basic but clean. Staff, friendly and helpful. Bed was okay, sheets were a bit itchy. Breakfast was better than average and coffee was great!”

“Easy check in, helpful staff, very clean room, nice size. .Breakfast not that good, only hot thing was waffles.”

“This was a nice place for the area.”

“This is a hole in the wall inn. Very quaint and simple. I am not one looking for large rooms or a lot of amenities. We look for a clean room, comfortable bed, safe surroundings, and a nice hot shower. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the Inn, but the 2 nights we stayed, there was no problems. Very nice place to stay.”

“Not very clean, gnats in the room. No breakfast available, and no one at counter to check out at 8:15am.”

“So I don't ask for much in a cheap motel but it should be clean and maintained. The negative- no room number on the door no hand soap in bathroom sink soap dispenser in shower. Hasn't been used in years. - empty. Toilet paper dispenser - empty roll in it, 1 -3/4 full roll on back of toilet tank bathroom vent very dirty with dust. ac unit very dirty with dust. shower floor non slip strips missing and in disrepair/ need new ones laid down sheets were surely not changed . found black……

“Rheya was the best good communication the place was so quiet.. love it my dog was having the best day of his life seriously”

“Overall good stay. Comfortable beds decent size kitchen. More of a swimming lake than fishing, which was fun with the kayaks.”

“The cottage is as described on the site. The living areas are pleasant and bright with a nice view of the lake. As others have noted, the property is close to a busy road, but you don't notice this at all once you're indoors, and this also means it's close to a grocery store and the shops in Wautoma. We locked ourselves out by mistake one afternoon and Danny was quick to respond to my messages and very helpful in resolving the situation. Thanks to Danny for a very pleasant stay.”

“My kids loved it! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a blast!”

“The property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool water was amazingly warm, that's hard to find in hotels. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The only downside is that they do not have an elevator which was rough with so much heavy luggage. Other than that I would recommend this hotel 100%.”

“It’s an old property, but it didn’t smell old & musty. Clean. Owner was pleasant and allowed us an early check-in, so we could drop off our luggage. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I’m passing through. Much appreciation Hilltop.”

“We had a great family trip. My kids enjoyed the clear lake to play in and the hot tub to warm up in. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay.”

“Clean house and responsive owner.”

“The property was amazing. Perfect place for our large family to make special memories. It had absolutely everything you needed down to new tooth brushes if you forgot yours! We loved that they furnished kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad and peddle boat. The firepit and seating around it was awesome! Loved that it had a gym too!”

“The whole process from rental to leaving was simple. Loved the two docks available to fish from (front and rear of the cottage). Husband loved that there was kayaks , canoe l, and row boat available to get out on the lake. Home was very inviting and home like. Would definitely stay again!”

“We had a couple of golf days in the area and very nice. Every room super clean and such a neat property. Great job on remodel of an old church! We will definitely book again. Craig was awesome to work with!!!”

“Between the price and the location, it was perfect! The host was great. My family loved the house and the location. I recommend this property and would stay again!”
