We were assigned a room on the second floor without an elevator which caused us older people with creaky knees some hardship. We were given no option when we checked in around 7pm. We managed not easily. The young man at the front desk was complete unapologetic. The room seemed mostly clean but I cleaned out the 2 heater air filters which were disgusting. There was some spilled blood (?) on one wall that I wiped off but gave me a feeling nobody had really looked the room over before finishing the cleaning. We’ve enjoyed precious stays more but hope things will be improved should we choose to stay with you again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. My only complaint is that it was hard to get a good nights rest. Kids were running up and down the hall way late at night and early in the morning. Nothing to do with the hotel it was about the parents.

I’ll tell you what, this place surprised me. The pictures on the Internet seemed to show the outside of the hotel to look a little newer so when we drove up, we didn’t quite know for sure. But once we stayed there for a while and saw the way the staff worked, the service, the full breakfast, the beautiful inside of the hotel. It was amazing and I would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic stay at The Academy Hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and nice, the staff was amazing and went above and beyond, and the location couldn’t have been better. Everything about the experience was top-notch. My "go-to" place to stay when I am in Colorado Springs!

Outside the trash cans need to be emptied and the litter and dog poop are not being maintained. Rooms are tired and bedding dated, Bathrooms rooms have been poorly maintained (painted wallpaper, sloppy caulking, dirty shower). T.V remote control batteries and light bulbs. Deferred maintenance is obvious.

The staff was amazing and personable. Coleen at the front desk greeted us with a smile. The bartender,Rob, was so much fun and made a great Cupids Arrow(his own creation!). The food at the restaurant and breakfast were worth coming back for! Beds were comfy and rooms clean. The location was very convenient.

The room was in great conditions the availability of restaurants were great. BUT the first night there was so much noise, running of kids at midnight and loud talking till 1am. Now i give all hotels i stay till 11pm for quiet hours. Unfortunately it didn't happened. I was so tired the next morning i didn't even want to go see my friends but I did. YOU really need to enforce quiet hours.

Staff was courteous. Room was dusty but we let it go for housekeeping next day. Turns out they only do full service every 3 days. We were there for 10 days. In those 10 days, toilet was never cleaned, room never dusted. Ice bucket plastic bag never replaced after 1st use. Common hallways not vacuumed, saw same trash on the carpet for the entire stay.
