"We really enjoyed our stay. We were walking the SWCP and were glad to stop earlier on this leg. (Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. "The views were phenomenal and the church lit up at night was lovely! It’s so quiet, you can’t hear a thing! We were trying to listen for the gibbons! Two of our group had a tour down the silver mine and museum too! The cottage is in an excellent location and it really is such a beautiful cottage! It was much bigger than expected and really lovely to stay in, so comfortable and light and airy! The rooms were perfect! The room with the two single beds in would be fantastic for children, the hosts have really gone above and beyond to make sure all needs were catered for. The selection of films and puzzles was lovely to see! You can really see that a lot of thought has gone into making this place so welcoming and like a home from home."

"Lovely balcony overlooking the hills, with table & chairs. The road up to the chalet is a little narrow but compared to all the narrow roads in and around north Devon I expect it is nothing out of the ordinary for the locals. We met a couple of other vehicles where the other people reversed up for us. The beach is a little walk but well worth it. We went swimming every day and there are lovely cafes & shops. Chalet was very comfortable and would stay again."
