「We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! 「Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended.」

「We had a lovely stay. Andrew was a great host and showed us everything we needed. The bar was humming and our dinner was fabulous. We had a great nights sleep. The renovated bathroom was excellent and had a nice big shower. Room 2 was lovely overall. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.. Overall we had a lovely overnight stay at the Cricketers Inn and would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. 」

「We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again」
