「Made very welcome on our arrival. Room was clean and tidy, and dinner was delicious - all credit to the chef and kitchen staff who had to tackle all the orders for the night in one go following a village wide power cut. Breakfast was very tasty and set us perfectly for the walking ahead of us. The only criticism is that the shower was very hit and miss - either scalding or freezing!」

We only have one small complain when you have a shower in the bath, if you put our foot on the bath plug you cannot get the plug out and the bath fills up with water . Other than that it was rather enjoyable. The staff are friendly and accommodating.」

The location is perfect, right at the bottom of high street next to several historic sites and within easy walking distance of everything one would want to see in Winchester.
