"We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again."

Evening meal also very nice, good range, freshly cooked & reasonably priced although did take quite a while to arrive but was worth it. Only minor negative was the water pressure was rather low which meant the shower wasn’t...

"Location is further from the train station but we liked that it was outside of the central core. Still easy to get around by walking and the campus has security so it feels safe even if you're out late. The room was spacious and while there's no AC, they did provide a fan. No fridge and our safe wasn't working though."
