“Great overnight stay in Kilsby. High standard accommodation at a reasonable price. Good communication from host even though we did not see him. Two village pubs to choose from in the village and nice breakfast in Crick Pie and Pickle at 23”

“Lovely hotel however extremely hot in the room, although there was a fan in the room thus wasn’t powerful enough to cool the room. Breakfast was of good quality however extremely slow with just one member of staff working”

“Would not recommend if you would like a good nights sleep. Location good, amenities decent, however the walls and floor must be paper thin as you can hear everything from the guests next to and above you! Booked 4 nights and left after 3 as was not getting any sleep, apparently we had different guests above us every night and you could hear them banging and moving around till 2am then again at 6am. Messaged host who came back to us after 4 hours then did not reply to further messages. That……

“We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.”

“The tub is hard to get in and the plastic door above the tub is uneasy to shut, therefore it leaks. The condition is excellent.”

“Very clean and great staff. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to find out that the meat from the brasserie is all halal, which meant I had a steak on our second night. Also the ravioli dish was wonderful too. Loved the food. The spa facilities are fantastic and not busy. Other guests were perfectly pleasant, didn't experience any issues considering we were the only non-white couple there and my wife dresses modestly. “Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The room was spotless and the amenities were excellent, including the well-stocked small fridge with food and snacks. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay, and unfortunately the small heater wasn’t quite enough to keep the room comfortably warm.”

“Nice location in quiet village which was very handy for silverstone park & ride. Plenty of parking. Nice room with hotel overall having an oldy world feel. Staff were very friendly accommodating & helpful. Breakfast was included freshly cooked with good range of choices. Evening meal also very nice, good range, freshly cooked & reasonably priced although did take quite a while to arrive but was worth it. Only minor negative was the water pressure was rather low which meant the shower wasn’t……
