“Great property at a good price!”

“The caretaker/host was super helpful and very nice! The room was perfect for what we needed although the water in the shower kind of blasted on you when turned on. The location is fantastic. We walked to the Royal Gorge Railway just across the street and there are a lot of food places close by. The breakfast area was down the stairs in rooms right next to the street but they have a nice patio up on the main level where you can sit and eat outside while watching people in the park across the……

“Breakfast was fantastic. Real coffee cups! Room was spacious and clean. A great value. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.”

“The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.”

“Pleasant stay”

“Our first room we checked into was still dirty with the dirty sheets thrown in the floor. We were the moved to another room. About 10pm while starting a little foreplay with my partner, another couple comes bursting through our hotel door and say they were given the room by the front desk. That issue was handled but the list goes on. No tv remote, poor paint jobs, stained sheets etc. I usually never give bad reviews but this one was still generous. The guy at the front desk was very helpful……

“Room had stained sheets and floor. My concern was that I was travelling with a pet that they would blame me for the current stains on the floor. No cups on the room we had to go request cups. They did offer new sheets.”

“Great staff. Clean rooms. Nice pool and jacuzzi!”

“Thoguht it was a fine place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds had nice firm mattresses. I liked the old posters showing the movies that had been filmed in Canon City and the plaques on the doors showing which Stars had stayed in the rooms. The breakfast could be improved. The biscuits and bagels were still frozen when I got to them. But, breakfast at a place like this is always hit or miss.”

“Some repairs are needed. Poor lounge chair at pool outside deck. It was broken and they only had one. Screen door in big need of repair. Items in the room did not work. Microwave door GFI in bathroom”

“They let us have a room for our cat, it very hard to find hotels that will let you have a cat in the room! They have a designated room for pets and the cat love it! She is a very picky cat! Our room was clean and had everything we need in it! The person at front desk was friendly and helpful! I would stay there again!”

“The room was small but clean and comfortable. We stayed here because the hotel had a designated place to park our ATV trailer.”
