“My boyfriend & I stayed here & really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for Yosemite & hiking. I felt things were as pictured & described in the listing. Had basic amenities we needed to meal prep & an electric grill that was nice. The shower head is a little lower but possible to work with. The floors seemed like they could use a good scrubbing. Had the opportunity to see a black bear from the balcony above & it was so cool! We would stay hear again. A good deal for staying inside the park but……

“This Condo is very cozy. Looks small but actually pretty good size for 4 people. Two bathrooms, one up stairs and down stairs. Condo is very clean and simple. Worked out great for us.”

“This place is in a perfect location in the park - approximately an hour drive from the entrance and a half hour drive to the valley. The unit was very clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. We were very surprised that there was no air conditioning (it wasn’t listed to have air conditioning, but we just assumed it would) and even in the cool evenings, we needed to leave the screen door open and have the fan at full speed to cool the loft. I can’t imagine being there in the summer……

“Perfect fit and location for our family trip to Yosemite. Having 2 bathrooms was a big plus. Beautiful sitting out on the deck enjoying food & drinks, and the grill was great to BBQ on. Plenty of room in the refrigerator and cabinets in the front room to accommodate the food and groceries we bought. Overall great experience!”

“Yosemite is an awesome experience and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to stay here. However, the carpet was sticky and stained and I can’t help but think that’s where the sour smell was coming from. There was hair in our sheets which was a little off putting. I sleep on the ground quite often while camping and this was much better than that.”

“This was a great place to stay for a quick trip to Yosemite! About 15 minutes from Tunnel View! It was very easy to check in and out. Good parking, and overall very clean. My only qualm about the cleanliness is that there was a cup that had lip marks on it, meaning it was not cleaned. Everything else however was clean and organized. The maximum amount of people that would be able to stay in this condo is 3. The electric grill was an excellent resource for making dinner after a long day of……

“We have stayed at Yosemite West at least 6 other times, booking through other listing agents. Never had any issues. We are always 100% satisfied and happy with everything.. Not so much this time through VRBO/Vacasa. #1. There is no phone in the unit. There are signs all over that tell you a number to call with issues, but that number is to an out of state place... not someone local to deal with anything.. AND - since there is no cell reception.. and no phone... the only way to deal with any……

“Loved our 4 night stay here. Well equipped self catering apartment with everything needed to cook full meals each night while watching for wildlife and looking up at the stars. We saw a large black bear in our first afternoon, fantastic! In August it was very warm overnight, and this can be uncomfortable with no AC, but having read the reviews we picked up cheap fans in Walmart, along with groceries and beers on the way through Fresno. This helped keep us cool and everyone slept well. The real……

“This is a wonderful location to stay!! Right in the middle of Yosemite. The condo is a very nice studio, clean, well maintained. It would have gotten 5 stars for sure , except the mattress was terrible. It is just a cheapie , uncomfortable mattress. Skillets we’re non stick that were in very poor condition, need to be replaced. A minor investment in the mattress and kitchen ware would make such a difference. I would love to return here sometime soon to explore Yosemite even more, hope you can……

“We went to Yosemite as part of our 40th wedding anniversary trip of a lifetime. The apartment is in a great location but we walked in & our hearts sank. The carpet in the entryway was filthy. The microwave had not been cleaned from the previous occupants & the whole place needs a major update. Find somewhere else to stay.”

“We had an issue with finding lots of giant winged ants crawling on the carpet and a couple black beetles as well. Especially when we turned heater on they would appear out of nowhere near the vents making me think they came from the vents. Needs an exterminator visit to spray around the house. It didn’t ruin our stay though! We just killed them when we would see them with paper towels and we only saw them in the day not at night which isn’t a huge issue since we were mostly out on hikes. Also……

“Some descriptions from website are different from the real situation. Perhaps I misunderstood that it is more like a camp site rather than hotel or hostel. (But this accommodation is listed in hotels.com!!!) The worst thing is that we needed to drive as many as seven minutes in order to go to our hut from the reception and the last day we needed to drive again to drop off the key. Accordingly, the direct path between them has been closed and so we needed to drive a big circle. Not easy to reach……
