"Great staff and very helpful. Good lcoation in proximity to Windermere and Bowness with ample car parking. Room was in the cottage out building and was large and comfortable. Onyl thing that needs to be improved is the cleanliness around things like skirting borads, cobwebs up walls, and the shower base edges where it hadn;t been cleaned for a long time. Breakfast provided is perfect, evening food is ok."

"4 night break meeting up with friends. The staff were all friendly and proactively helpful. We did not use the spa, but parking was okay and the two 22kW EV chargers a welcome bonus. Location was perfect for town centre. Weather was wet for much of the time but we found plenty to do within a reasonable distance. Would happily stay here again."

"The indoor spa was great. Staff were awesome as well - really professional. Can imagine it's great when the outdoor spa is open and during the summer.
Some of the negatives...breakfast could do with some improvements, the ingredients tasted low quality some of the cooking was questionable (fried eggs for example). The place had a general feel of getting refurbished so felt hard done by paying full price... Our room (28) smelt like drains and the view was blocked by scaffolding. Also some mold in the corner right by the window. "

"The Daffodil Hotel is a really decent hotel, we came for our little honeymoon. Room was very clean, reception staff very welcoming and the beds are comfortable. We loved the view from our window of the lake and hills. Gorgeous location!
Only issues was we had no fridge in our room, not having somewhere cold to store our 'bottled gifts' we brought from our wedding was disappointing. Also the reception lounge bar was closed constantly, its a shame as we fancied a nice cocktail and snack to celebrate, the actual restaurant was a bit too pricey for us.
