“OMG what a great place to stay. My husband and I stayed here in 2013, Me my daughter and granddaughter came this time. So close to all the areas to visit and then come home to rest up for the next day. Walking distance to town for shopping and eating. Thank you for a clean home with all the amenities. “We loved our stay at this cottage in Custer. It was walking distance from the downtown, but still set back from the hustle and bustle so that the location was quiet. We even had deer in our yard! Our two boys, 12 and 9, loved having their own rooms and getting to choose the top or bottom bunk, and it was so nice to have access to laundry and a grocery store just 2 minutes away. Overall, this was a wonderful home base for our time in the Black Hills, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!”

“To the next renter , RUN! We walked in to an over powering pinesol smell only to find out why- we were sleeping in a stench of urine so strong it burned your throat. Upon removing a mattress cover, we found blood and urine with dryer sheets covering it to try and mask the smell, an unacceptable health hazard Dryer sheets were tucked into the couch you can’t sit on because of the stench! Fence is broken and we had to repair for the safety of our pet as well as signs other guests did as well. Mold……
