"Lovely getaway for an authentic Japanese Onsen bathing experience. The suite room was gorgeous and came with a private bath which was very worth it for me ! Many delicious local restaurant options nearby too. Staff knew enough English to get us settled. Highly recommend for 1-2 nights as part of your trip. "

"Onsen is located on a river and surrounded by nature. Very picturesque. The food served was excellent, traditional cuisine, lots of variety, and plentiful. I appreciated the free shuttle service from the train station to the onsen, this needs to be arranged beforehand through the expedia booking platform. The room was clean. We use the public onsen before dinner so there are not much people. The private onsen in the room also great, but will be a bit small if two people bath together.
