"We loved our one night stay here. I was worried because I didn’t realize there was no lift on the property, but the staff was very helpful in getting us to our room. "

"This was our first time traveling to Edinburgh from Canada, and we were highly impressed with everything this hotel (which was a last-minute kind of booking we made) offered. It is close to the train station, and is an easy walk to the main attractions, and getting to our pick-up points for our day tours/walking tours was easy. Fantastic Location!
The manager offered us a free bottle of Chardonnay and the hotel had everything we needed for a meal indoors (with take-out food) and was quite cool.
There is a grocery store nearby, pubs close by, and not too noisy.
Recommend strongly!"
"A great option for staying close to Edinburgh Airport! I always stay here when I fly in the morning.
However, the pathway to the airport itself could be in better condition and better signposted - there are no clearly indicated pedestrian crossings so one has to drag the bags through rough pavements and jump in before cars to cross."
"We had a great stay here! We loved our room and the amenities in it. We also loved how close the hotel was to the city center and we were able to walk everywhere. We look forward to staying again in the future! "
"The hotel is in a great central location for walking. I woman at the front desk was just absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful and a great sense of humor. Her name was Bee for short. The room was nice. The interesting part was the hotel is older and is not equipped with AC. They put portable AC units in the room and vent them thru the window. They also put an oscillating fan in the room as well. I was curious as to how this was going to play out. It went great. The room stayed cold. I mean cold not cool. We stayed in the summer months. The room was spacious, and bed was comfortable. So even with the window open slightly to allow venting from the AC we didn't get any street sounds up into the room. The area is quiet at night. No issues at all and they had black out curtains as well. "
