“Old fashioned but still nice hotel, with dated facilities. Pool is great but very small, a bit cramped with 4-5 persons. Had a great view of the riverfront. ”

“We booked a family room and on arrival, there was no room available as another guest had extended his stay. Staff were very helpful and we were put in a small windowless room. The aircon worked well but the room could have done with a clean. We were moved to another room the next morning only after I insisted that I wanted a room I had seen vacant. It was less than I had paid for but seemed okay. However, on closer inspection once inside the room, the toilet had a leak. They came in to fix……

“Overall an amazing place to stay in kuching, especially if your looking for somewhere with some character. The place is rustic with a few little bits which arent perfect, but place is really interesting, with lot of history and also really clean. The hotel is near the old town and china town, with lots of bar and restaurants nearby and short was to the river front. “The bedroom TV wasn’t working throughout our stay there. Plus the in-house safe wasn’t working as well so we had to carry our valuables around while outside. Other than these minor inconveniences, the staff offered very personable and prompt service, impeccable and fast. Good location to a lot of good food places. ”
