“Owners were very welcoming. Pets N/A as we didn't have any. Food at breakfast was excellent. Provisions in room for teas, etc. also excellent. Bed was clean and comfortable and the room suited us too. Absolutely no complaints and would happily stay again.”

“Leslie Castle has been on our bucket list since 2018. We are thrilled that we were finally able to get there. The Castle and grounds are in immaculate condition. Nicola and John have done a masterful job with keeping the feel of the place authentic to the history. The rooms were incredible. Modernized but still feeling appropriate to the heritage. The meals were likewise excellent. Dinner was a particular highlight after which Nicola expertly entertained us with the history of the Leslie……

“Maryculter House is a fantastic historical hotel with fantastic festures. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Brilliant restruant for both breakfast and dinner. The setting alongside the river gives a grest view. It was our second visit there and would definitely use again.”

“The staff is so friendly and accomodating, they take the best care of their guests. Room was cleaned and done while I had my breakfast. Breakfast and dinners are of fantastic quality in this restaurant which has won many aeards and even included in Michelin guides. The area is very silent and peaceful, with grazing cows across the road and sand besches and dunes very close by. If I have to mention any downsides, it's that the bed doesn't have the best back support and the room is a bit humid due……

“Hôtel très sympa avec le bar et resto au rdc et les chambres à l’étage. Un peu ma insonorisé, nous avons entendu les portes claquer très fort dans la nuit probablement à la fermeture du bar. Mais autrement, un parking relativement grand, en février nous n’avons pas eu de problème pour se trouver une place mais en période estivale cela peut être plus difficile, cela dit c’est très proche du centre-ville. Chambre grande et confortable avec une douche également très grande et moderne.”
