Hello — before you book this unit, please read this listing all the way through, every section. We have put everything we know into it: the renovation, the parking, the beach access, what is open and what is closed, and exactly what this unit is. It matters, so please read it.
Welcome to The Coastal — a twelfth floor studio with a south ocean view and a larger balcony to take it in from.
This unit sleeps up to 3 — a king bed plus a twin pull-down, and a kitchenette with a cooktop, microwave and fridge. Step out onto the balcony for the sunrise.
Currently open at the resort: the oceanfront pool, the indoor pool, two hot tubs, the sauna and the workout room.
Please read this part before booking. Renovations are underway and this is a multi-year project — some daytime noise and occasional dust is part of the process. The tiki bar, the restaurant, one outdoor pool, the kiddie pool and the parking garage are closed.
There is no beach access from the building or from the pool deck. The public beach access is right next door, on the north side.
Two outdoor lots serve the building. Parking is first come, first served and gets tight in the evening. One spot is included; additional parking is available as a paid upgrade with 24-hour notice — same-day requests may not be accommodated. No trailers at any time.
Please continue and read the rest of the property description.
This is a large oceanfront resort with several hundred units and an active pool deck. Expect a lively, family-oriented resort rather than a quiet or secluded one.
The kitchen is a kitchenette with a cooktop, microwave and fridge — there is no oven. There is no washer or dryer in the unit. Guest laundry is available in the building on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors by the north elevators. Two beach towels are provided in the unit. We do not offer beach chairs or umbrellas, so bring your own if you would like them.
As with all Florida oceanfront properties, bugs — including the infamous palmetto bug — are part of the coastal environment, particularly at night when beach lights can attract them. We keep the property on an active treatment schedule year round.
We'd rather you know upfront than be surprised on arrival — any questions, just ask!
You're steps from the "World's Most Famous Beach" — where the locals hang, just north of the boardwalk. Restaurants, bars, shops, Publix, and Marshalls are all right across the street. 20 minutes from Daytona Beach International Airport, 50 minutes from Sanford, and just 1.5 hours from Orlando — easy to get to, hard to leave. The beach walk here is iconic — grab a coffee and stroll for miles along the Atlantic.
Tailor your stay — many optional upgrades available. See your booking confirmation for details
