The cottages are older but with Bali charm. If you want a laid back traditional experience. With exceptional friendly service you stay here. Close enough to Sanur beaches and cafes and a lovely bike ride into town. Most enjoyable.

Not what I expected.... not the hotel's fault

Pros: - Staff was very friendly and accomodating - Issues were tended to in a quick manner - Bed was comfy Cons: - The rooms are basically outside, mosquitoes coming thru the door slates - The AC was only good for one spot because as mentioned; the room is basically an indoor/outdoor space - Shower and toilet water pressure kept having issues - Bathroom is "open air" with the humidity was no joke

We stayed here on our last night of trip. We had the private pool villa and the house was huge. We were welcomed with friendly staff. We ate breakfast and dinner here and both options were tasty for two picky American eaters. We used the shuttle to get to downtown Sanur since it is about a 5 minute drive away. We really enjoyed our stay here and the property is beautiful

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, arriving late and leaving early, so our experience was brief. Even so, the reception staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which helped us relax after a long day of travel with our children. The room was okay and included an outdoor bathtub. It looked charming, but due to heavy rain and an issue with the hot water, we were unable to use it, which was unfortunate but understandable considering the location and weather. Breakfast was the main point of confusion. Because my husband and son are gluten-intolerant and I don’t usually eat bread, we ordered three Indonesian-style breakfasts and one Western-style plate for our daughter, who loves bread and eggs. However, two Western dishes were served at first. After my husband politely clarified the order, another Western plate still arrived. Only the final dish ended up being the Indonesian-style breakfast we originally requested, but our son enjoyed it very much and said it was delicious. The fresh juice was great, while the coffee was unfiltered and quite thick. The presentation was nice overall, and the toast was acceptable. Our children enjoyed playing in the pool right next to the breakfast area, which added a fun start to the morning. The friendly cats around the property also created a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that we appreciated. Overall, despite some service mix-ups and the unusable bathtub, the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere made our stay enjoyable.

We stayed here for two weeks. First impressions of the laneway leading to the hotel was awful but the gates opened up to a little garden of paradise. Our room had a 9m private pool and beautiful garden! It was our own little sanctuary :) Yes, it’s very tired but there is expansion underway and it’ll be interesting to return to see what the updates look like. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. If I were to find a negative, it would be the menu, it didn’t change and after the first week it became monotonous, especially breakfast. However, it seemed most visitors only stayed a few nights so probably didn’t notice! It is a fair walk to the nearest restaurant and beach, 15 mins, the beach isn’t the best but I’m sure will improve as there’s extensive building happening on the sea front. My advice would be to wait until 2027 if you’re after action, but if you want to unwind, kick back and relax, you can at the Visakha.

Walking through the gates of Visakha was like walking into an oasis. The staff are welcoming and happy. It was lovely to see the same faces and talk to manager Jay. My family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. Everything was clean and inviting. With an outdoor bathroom downstairs and great space, mini bar, robes and slippers we felt relaxed. The pool was cool for dip anytime and with the lovely garden surrounds everywhere, it was very tranquil. We ate a few meals on premises as well as the complimentary breakfast and enjoyed traditional Balinese dishes while the boys could also get a pasta or burger. Each day we caught the free shuttle into the centre 5min drive to enjoy some shopping and the beach. We experienced onsite massages and pedicures in a beautiful peaceful beauty space and got some washing cleaned which came back folded and ironed. Reception is only an internal call away and we’re there for all our needs. Transfers to the airport and late checkout was arranged. We will return here, for a tranquil relaxing stay and 5mins drive to the centre. Thank you Jay and team.

Cute resort, not so cute accomodation.

Some of the other reviews for this property speak very highly of this resort, which is why we chose this property. Unfortunately, it was not what it seems. Check-in was wonderful and staff at the property couldn't do enough, they were the saving grace for the stay! Unfortunately, the private pool villa are in a poor condition and desperate need of upgrades. The small air-conditioning unit in the room struggled to keep it cool, with the holes in the grass ceiling/roof and poor seals around doors. One would think I had may have had the unlucky villa, but no, my friend who I travelled with had the villa next door, and it was the same. The bed was comfy and did have decent sleep. The main property pool was very inviting but the private pool very sad. Rust all around and unkept. Even the main drain hole was literally a big hole with pipes, no cover! The outdoor bathroom was always full of insects, especially caterpillars and ants. A power hose would do wonders to give the bathrooms a new lease on life. There was also some inconsistencies between the rooms that should be seen to. The restaurant served a decent breakfast and the complimentary shuttle to the main strip a nice touch. This resort is in a great quiet location with beautiful amenities, and with some genuine care can be a great place for longer stay. Please update the rooms/villas... would be such a shame to just let them deteriorate, so much potential.

The staff were exceptional! The villas were stunning with private pool. We had a family suite with 2 separate bedrooms that was updated and very spacious. Only a few minute taxi ride to restaurants. They also have a shuttle service to Ubud during the day. Very pleased with the immaculate grounds, central pool besides the private pool and their restaurant was very good.

Dejligt hotelpersonale. Hotellet er placeret lidt fra centrum - måske 1-2 km. Det var egentlig rart nok. Dog var hotelværelset lidt slidt men meget hyggeligt og de gjorde rent. Badeværelse er åbent ud til, så der kom pludselig et lille firben ind.

街から離れているので、静かなところです 飛行機が上を通る音以外、カエルと鳥の声がしますがそれ以外は気になりませんでしたよ。 1階と2階にベッドルームがあります 1階の電源コンセントは1つしか空きがないのがちょっと不便とか、冷蔵庫の冷凍室が霜だらけとか色々ありますが、ゆったり静かに過ごすのには、とても良いホテルだと思います。

ちょい古、ほのぼので良い人はいいんじゃない

表示の広さ表示で選んだのですが、部屋でなく敷地のような気がします。 つまり、ゆったり広々というわけではありません。 設備もちょっと不満が残ります お湯はシャワーチョロ、給湯は、湯船半分で水に変化。コンセントは空きが一つ。 しかしのんびりゆったり静かなのは良いんじゃないかな。 テレビは新しいのが入ってますし、ネットはそれなりの速さで使えますよ。 レストランも、融通きかせてくれてありがとうです。 ああ、あったかほのぼのですので、私は好きです。

직원, 음식, 서비스, 위생 모든 것이 좋으나 위치가 아쉬움. 위치가 사누르비치와는 거리가 있습니다. 걸어서는 20분이 더 걸리고 차로 이동하거나 자전거를 타야합니다. 밤엔 다니기 힘든 로컬 골목끝이라 밝을때만 다니길 권합니다. 음식은 매우 깔끔하고 맛있었고요 다만 가격이 좀 비쌉니다. 직원들 너무 훌륭하고, 특히 리셉션의 제이. 이 사람은 노련한 베테랑인데 친절하기 까지 해서 매우 의지까지 되는 직원이었습니다. 수영장은 넓은 편은 아닙니다. 위치를 생각한다면 조용히 쉬고싶은 분들께 권유드리고, 주변에 편의시설이나 음식점, 카페등을 원한다면 중심가쪽을 선택하시길 권유드립니다.

Et åndehul midt i idyl

Fantastisk lille plet. Man føler sig omfarvnet af både omgivelser og personale. Man fik et storslået værelse - romantisk med himmelseng og et unikt badeværelse med skønneste omgivelser. Egen lille privat pool samtidig har stedet en smuk fælles pool og have også. Vi ville bestemt komme igen og vores bedste anbefalinger herfra Jesper og Anja

Private pool was excellent. Water pressure was very low and the hot water came after 10 minutes. Only two AC outlets.
