“A very nice and comfortable hotel with excellent grounds. Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was ok but we waited 2 hours for our meal and it was quite expensive. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of good quality food but again, it was really busy and we had to eat in the bar. Pool facilities are good but limited to 1 hour slots.”

“We were working at Download Festival and the hotel staff were unbelievably accommodating to people going to the festival given the weather conditions.”

“Service was lovely, on top of what they are doing. Food was amazing and they are always making sure the customers are happy and if there is anything they can do to help the customers, was an absolute delight with my dog, he got lots of attention. The only con was that the rooms are dated and the furniture seems aged but with the new management hopefully this may change. Will definitely return. ”

“We arrived late on that day, the receptionist Alex gave us a warmly welcome, and all the things were prepared in the room. The room was comfortable, tidy and clean, we had a good sleep on that night.”

“The staff at the blue jay pub were absolutely lovely and so helpful ,all i have to say is probably a member of staff needs to be alocated in the hotel to save keep walking to the pub to get extra milk ,sugar and toilet roll ,oh and the doors from the hotel room doors are the most loud and scary ones being slammed for hours and hours on end and the floor from the room above us we were room 108 is the most loudest floor heard every footstep all around there rokm so came back from weekend stay……

“Everything about our one night stay was perfect. The location and views were great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Evening meal in bar was great as was breakfast in morning. Bedroom overlooked hills and was comfy and spacious. ”
