“I really enjoyed my stay here and will absolutely come back the next time I visit Golden. It was a great value, I found it very comfortable, and I loved the view of the river and the ski resort from my room. Lodge + Lantern is a really neat old lodge that's in the process of being renovated. Some things in the hotel are new and modern (furniture, mattresses [very comfy], TVs), and some things are old and look a bit out of place (namely the carpet), but everything in my room worked perfectly. “The room was very cozy and clean. I really enjoyed having a patio and being able to use the hot tub. It seemed like we were the only ones staying in the main lodge, so we got breakfast and hot tub use all alone! The breakfast and coffee were also amazing. We are definitely coming back next year!”

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”
