We had a great time a group of 10 adults. The house was a great place to relax, sit by the beach or pool and snorkel in the ocean! Great accommodations by the caretaker and property manager! Would love to go back one day

Perfect Beach for the Adventurer!

If you love to travel and consider yourself a travel veteran, Eleuthera is the place for you! Our family travelled to Eleuthera for the first time, and loved exploring the whole island! From this location, we could get to Governor's Harbour in less than 20 minutes, and Cape Eleuthera and and the dock to Spanish Wells or Harbour Island in just a little over an hour! The house was right on the beach, and if you are used to going with the flow in another country, it is a perfect spot for another family to enjoy as we did. Plenty of space, and absolutely amazing pool!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the most beautiful, pink sand beaches in the world. We love Eleuthera’s casual and laid back island style. We chartered a boat for the day out of Spanish Wells for snorkeling, turtle feeding and site seeing, a must do! Tyler, our property manager, who met us at Plage Rose, was always available to assist us with any concerns. The property was everything they said it was. We intend to return to a place meant for vacation!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and location itself were lovely. Before we booked, we ensured that a backup generator would be available in case of power outage, which can be common on the island. A generator for back up power is in fact listed as an amenity on the property’s website. For the first three days, we had significant issues with power and the back up generator sadly did not work. Ultimately, it did not work for almost half our vacation. We spent half the vacation without air conditioning, fans, a cold fridge/freezer, water pressure, lights, WiFi etc. Needless to say this was a huge inconvenience after traveling thousands of miles for some rest and relaxation. I will say that the owner tried to get this remedied, and the property manager was on site and was very helpful. Unfortunately, the person hired to fix the generator was hopeless. Because this impacted almost half our vacation, when I returned I reached out to the owner to see if we could get a small discount/prorate for some of our stay since a functioning generator was part of the deal. Unfortunately, she did not see our side of this, and even worse, ultimately completely ignored us. I would advise against using properties owned by someone like this in the future.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

We had an absolutely perfect relaxing getaway at the Plage Rose. The property is exactly as described and pictures. No surprises at all. We had a few rainy days and didn’t mind at all, just enjoyed laying around the property, playing games and spending time together. The layout with the guesthouse worked out perfectly giving our 20 something kids a space of their own. When the Atlantic side was rough, we went across to Ten Bay for perfect snorkeling. This was by far the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had thanks to Plage Rose! My only recommendation if you book would be to ask for a pin drop to help find the property. Our flight got in late and it was difficult to find after dark especially if you’ve never been to Eleuthera.

We had 7 adults all friends and it was perfect. Hanging out together or getting away from everyone worked great. We went out exploring every morning, ate lunch at different beach bars every day and back to the house for a nap by 2:00. Had chefs come in and cook us dinner almost every night and it was amazing. Our only complaint was the frying pans were unusable, but it did not matter because the chefs brought them if they needed them. House is centrally located on island so it is easy to get to either end and we did. The heated pool was great also. Would highly recommend.

We spent 5 days here and it was perfect for our family.The location was exclusive with an oceanfront property that was steps from the perfect beach. Having the view of the beach from our rental from inside the home was amazing!Everything we needed was supplied inside of the home. It was nice to have a home away from home without missing out on any of the essentials back home.I would HIGHLY recommend you have the property stocked with all food you might need before arriving. This property is very remote and restaurants aren’t just right around the corner. We had no problems since we prepared in advance.So much to say about this place but I think the picture and videos I posted speak for themselves. Enjoy your vacation!

Plage Rose is a very nice and spacious property. Very clean with amazing caretakers. All our questions were quickly answered and Merlene and Violet made sure our arrival and our stay was flawless. Fantastic pool with very comfortable lounging chairs and perfect mix of sun and shades. This house is perfectly located: The beach is AMAZING and very private, with plenty of snorkelling to keep the young (and not so young) busy and happy; The near by city of Governor’s Harbour is beautiful and has all you need; you are right in the middle of the Island so you can explore easily the entire Island if you want; and right on the other side, just few miles away, you have Ten Bay beach if you want to enjoy the Caribbean Sea. Highly recommanded if you consider visiting Eleuthera

50th Birthday Celebration

We absolutely loved Plage Rose! The house was spacious, had great amenities, and well stocked with everything we needed. It has easy access to the beach and a beautiful pool. We had 4 adult couples in our group. The only thing we missed is that the guest room in the main house does not have its own full bath. But we made it work and had a fantastic time! Special thank you to the owners and staff. They were easy to reach and very helpful. We plan to come back again!

Plage Rose is an amazing property on the most beautiful stretch of pink sand beach in all of Eleuthera (we've been coming to Eleuthera for 30 years)! We felt immediately welcomed by the design of the home and all of the special touches (the artwork is wonderful and the kitchen was superb). The size of the estate ensured privacy - we never saw another person on 'our beach' the entire week. We were so fortunate in that the weather for the last 4 days was perfect and the Atlantic was like a giant bathtub - it was a beautiful turquoise and crystal clear! I didn't think we would use the pool, but we did, everyday (was great for the grandkids to jump in while we were making dinner - while we could keep our eyes on them). A huge shout-out to Merlene and the rest of the home crew - they checked in on us regularly and quickly resolved the one tiny issue we had. There were so many great things about the home but to sum it up - WE LOVED PLAGE ROSE and we will be back! If you are looking for a beautifully maintained oceanfront estate, to create a lasting vacation memory, I would highly recommend Plage Rose! Thank you for making this one of our best family experiences in Eleuthera!

Perfect Home, Perfect Beach in Paradise!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful spacious, comfortable, very private home. We had a party of seven, which worked perfectly with the guest house. Everyone had space and privacy and the very large property gave us true seclusion. The home was spotlessly clean (thank you Violet!), and had everything you could possibly need to actually live there. The kitchen was very well equipped with several sets of dinnerware, flatware, nice cookware, knives, and every utensil you will need. This is a chef's kitchen! I loved that spices remain and are available for the next guest. We spent a lot of time snorkeling, beach hopping, relaxing, and visiting nearby beach bars and restaurants. There is wonderful snorkeling on a line of coral heads straight out the back door very close to shore. Endless beaches nearby. Some snorkel gear is available, but we brought our own sets. The Beach and the water at Plage Rose is truly something to see, very beautiful location. We also enjoyed the pool every afternoon with drink in hand. The pool is nicely maintained, very clean, with great deck chairs. We fed the cats and enjoyed the local wildlife to include the resident Yellow-crowned Night Heron who hangs out by the pool. We had a very fun boat outing with Bubba at Fishbones Tours. We enjoyed local restaurants Tippy's, Fishbones, The Deck, Pascal's, Mate&Jennys, and 1648 at French Leave. We loved the quiet uncommercialized beauty. No large towns or hustle and bustle. The people of Eleuthera were kind and welcoming. We were also able to get the covid test required for the US flight back home in a few minutes at the nearby North Palmetto Point clinic - quick, easy, very efficient. Much thanks to Denise for a fabulous time! We have a list of so many sights, beaches, and resturants we still want to visit, so we will be back! We definitely recommend Plage Rose.

The beach was beautiful and I probably only saw six people using it during our entire two week visit. Easy to get into the water; no rocks, just beautiful soft sand. The new pool was used a lot. The property has the nicest lounge chairs I've seen at any property I've rented. Really hated to leave and get back to reality.
