Great mountain escape

The family had a great time and found this property to be very accommodating. The rental management company seemed to really be on it too. Thanks to the owners for sharing their special place with us.

Woodsy Stay

This property was incredible. It fit our family needs perfectly - allowing for us to have enough space yet spend the intended time together. Beautiful location in the mountains and only a short drive back into town.

We enjoyed our stay. The main house was beautiful and great. The loft apartment over the guest house needed some help but we made it work.

Family Vacation

We booked this trip for our youngest 21st birthday. The home was as described and as pictured in the listing. The views are breathtaking. So much so that our oldest proposed on the property. Property was clean and had all the amenities. Very quiet and peaceful!

Amazing Home for Family Gathering!

This property was spacious and accommodating for our large group of 11 adults and 2 dogs. The pictures don’t show how large the living space is. The views from the home were spectacular and the property had ample outdoor space to play games and just enjoy. All activities we participated in were nearby and accessible. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Great Location but

Location was wonderful but property was disappointing in some ways. No blinds so you are awake at the break of dawn. Utensils and plates were not as listed for sleeping. Otherwise a nice place.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and view from house and yard were amazing. Loved all the outdoor areas and swings. Spent most of our time outside. Rented both the house and apartment. House was comforatbel and clean. Apartment was clean but a little outdated. Suggestions would be table and seating inside for meals, more plates and utensils and hair dryer.

Family gathering

We met in Durango to celebrate our son's wedding (which took place on top of Uncompahgre in Aug). We had a get-together with family and friends, and utilized the wonderful outdoor spaces at the house. There are several wonderful seating areas, but our favorite was the fire pit with bench seating (for making s'mores), and the lookout deck for drinking coffee in the mornings. The house is about 20 mins outside Durango, so running to the store is not quick. But, the quiet neighborhood and beautiful scenery made up for that 10x. Highly recommend this beautiful house and guesthouse.

House and views were beautiful just make sure to not leave any fingerprints or you’ll be charged.

The views are beautiful and the house was nice, our only downfall was we didn’t have enough water for our 5 day stay, so they had to get some hauled out to us. Make sure to bring a mop to mop up any spills, or else they will charge extra cleaning fee for uncleaned floors, also don’t take out to much trash bc that will be included in the cleaning fee. Can’t throw up outside either(due to elevation) bc that will be included since it will show up in snow. Can’t wipe snow and mud off on one of their towels as well to prevent from getting the floors dirty, so be sure to take doormats to wipe feet off after coming in from outside.

The views were beautiful and the location of the house was within an hour of several sites and activities we were interested in. We went to Purgatory Resort, Molas Pass, Silverton, Mesa Verde National Park and Lake Nighthorse. We had a great time!
