"100/10 stay. If you’re looking to do nothing but relax this is the spot for you. The villas are surrounded by nature (bring bug replant) but the bedroom has AC that gives you a break from the humidity. Absolutely stunning hotel with incredibly kind and helpful staff. Food was spectacular as well. If you want to leave (though why would you) the town is only a 18 min drive. The hotel has private lagoon access and kayaks available to use to explore the lagoon as far as you’d like. The villa has its own pool (if you choose that room) and the outdoor rain shower is fantastic. I cannot recommend Boca de Agua enough!"

"Courteous staff and well maintained property. The rooms are nice and the location is Lagoon Front. The Breakfast was very good despite a small selection. The Bacalar Lagoon is a must see and I would highly recommend the Lagoon water tour. Overall, we would definitely return to the Cristalino."

"Staying at this hotel felt like being in a paradise in the jungle. Our villa had its own private access to the lagoon, which is something you don’t often find here. The gardens are filled with green plants, bright flowers, and creative art. The staff is always helpful and attentive. The restaurant’s food has really improved since we were here about two years ago."
