“We stayed for a long weekend to view the Total Solar Eclipse. House was immaculately clean and orderly. Heat worked great! We brought groceries and had everything we needed at the house to make all meals. Loved the dining table in the front room with the wonderful view of the lake. Owner was super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Very nice neighborhood, friendly people liked to stop and talk when we went for walks. Good selection of streaming choices. “We were in town for the weekend for a family wedding at Twin Silos. There were five of us total (three adults and two kids - 10, 16). There was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. We were able to prepare dinner in the kitchen the first night and had everything we needed. Had to run to Geneseo for some last minute supplies the second morning, which was a quick 10mins away. “This site was booked for viewing of the total solar eclipse. And while the weather did not cooperate, the site itself was perfect. The grounds were lovely and private, and the house was clean and comfortable. I think it would be even better if there was a television onsite, but overall it was a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful setting. The host was very accommodating and responsive and terrific to work with.”

“The problem is that the property is physically small, it's short. Not a problem for most people, but being 6' 3", I was hitting my head on a lot of stuff, and hunching most the time I was in the cabin. The cabin is very cozy, it all takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, it is a great small place to stay in. It would be best to get there early to get the heat figured out, if you need to do that. There are a lot of amenities to make sure everything goes smoothly and to pass the time……

“The area is scenic, just beautiful. Cottage is well maintained and pretty. Furniture is comfy, and little details are attended to. It's a busy area but the backyard is private. I've stayed in cottages where they didn't have salt and pepper, or any hand soap. This place had a selection of spices, soap in each bathroom, all the towels. Even some shampoo and conditioner! Rachael was easy to talk to and responsive to inquiries. Highly recommend 😀”

“Our family vacation at the lake house was fantastic. Nestled amidst picturesque scenery, the charming home provided a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. From sunrise to sunset, we spent our time outdoors, kayaking along the serene waters of the lake, fishing on the docks and enjoying meals on the decks overlooking the lake. Evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit, sharing stories and toasting marshmallows. The interiors were nice and offered spacious rooms and beautiful views……

“This place makes us feel cozy. However, the cleanliness is not up to par. There are lot of dead bugs in some corners of the room and around the windows. Also found some calcium around the kitchen faucet. Look like the cleaning service didn't do a good job. Why should I pay for cleaning service?”
