“There was no air conditioning and the property is directly across from a noisy bar, so you can choose to have all the windows closed and be hot or open the windows and be unable to sleep. The beds were futons with no sheets. The kitchen table and chairs were patio furniture. The sense of the place is the host putting in the bare minimum effort. It was a very disappointing experience and I recommend people instead stay at one of the many other places in the area.”

“The location was perfect for me. Coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery store within 3 minute walk. Beach 1 minute walk. View and ocean sounds from bedroom and living room. It was secure and safe. The parking place made a great difference. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy San Diego and beach living.”

“The location was excellent! It is right on the beach. The windows were difficult to see thru, probably a result of the harsh ocean environment. There was a hand written sign on the screen, ‘Do not open’. It would be nice to open the screen to get a clear unobstructed view of the ocean. The curtains on the front of the unit were secured with clips, but several were broken, so they looked a little tacky. The host was great to work with and answered our questions before we arrived and helped us……

“We really enjoyed the location—it was amazing! It was so close to the beach and the Belmont area, which made it easy to walk everywhere without having to use our car.One thing that caught us by surprise was that we didn’t see anywhere in the listing that mentioned there was no air conditioning, so we weren’t expecting that.The listing does mention that the garage is small, but even with our small car, we weren’t able to fit it inside.Before our stay, I asked about a high chair after the host……
