「This was a wonderful location for our family and dog to stay. The home was beautiful and the beach was lovely as well. It is quite a hike to the beach but there was a handy wagon there for our stay that we used to take things out to the beach. 」

「Beautiful little cottage with an amazing view. Bring your fishing rods. We caught some fish on Lake Van Etten. We swam in the water which was nice. There are stairs to get in and out of the water and when you go out towards the middle of lake the bottom is sand. Bring a roku stick as cable is provided. Washer and Dryer. Large kitchen. Plenty of pillows, sheets, blankets, towels etc. The hosts are wonderful! P.S. the train comes 2x at night.」

「Our family has an annual reunion in Oscoda with canoeing and this year our 11 person group decided to forgo the hotel and found this beautiful rental. 1 minute walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to downtown area, big backyard with built in firepit, 5 bedrooms, to living spaces, large kitchen/dining. It was perfect for us, plenty of space to spread out and go out and enjoy the area. 10/10 would recommend.」

「We thought we had the most comfortable bed at home but we found this property has the GOAT of beds. I need one now. Erin is super nice and helpful, she brought us a freshly washed blanket and a home made bath soap that smelled divine! Soft towels that actually wrap around the body, clean and comfortable linens.Beach towels that were better than the one we have.The apartment was so clean and I know clean. We plan to stay here on a regular basis when in Tawas for our sailboat.」

「We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. 「My family and I were very impressed with the amenities offered at this beautiful beach house. It was clean, beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds and furniture were comfortable and new and the beach is AMAZING! This is a perfect location for any beach lovers and the host was very easy to work with. We had no issues during our stay, however I am confident if we had they would have been corrected immediately. This is a rare gem of a property on the much underrated sunrise...

「The house has a cool, retro type of decorating style and was very comfortable. The only thing I would mention is that they should give renters a heads up that the driveway is located off of a side road and not the main road. It was hard to find it. 」

「We had a nice time at the bungalow. Good shower and comfy beds. Very close to the state park. It's in a neighborhood and you can walk to the water (view, not swim). Would stay again.」

「This is our second year at Loon Rising. Everything was great yet again! We had some unforseen family complications that impacted our trip, and Robert was so very understanding and worked with us on some last minute trip changes. I can't thank you enough! The only thing I have to suggest, add some new markers, we used pen to update the vacation wall!! Hopefully we will be back again some day! 」
