“Ed was very knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us several great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He also offered us a tour of his property on his 4 wheeler, which was a lot of fun. I was able to feed the animals from the corn that grew on his property, too. Be sure to visit with him if you get the chance. The accommodations are part of Ed's house in the country. It's laid back and rural-not spotless but homey. :)”

“Excellent. Thanks for a wonderful place.”

“Everything was wonderful”

“Communication was not acceptable.Downstairs kids’ room and bathroom were in disrepair.”

“We had a great time here! Outdoor space was amazing with a great view of the bluffs. Inside was bigger than we thought with more beds than what we thought too. It was as described. Space was clean, hosts were friendly and responsive. The kitchen had many different tools to cook there, we just cooked there one night and one morning. Some how in the description we missed that this was a multi unit. The only thing that was a surprise with this was that we could hear the people above us walk……

“A very quiet shop.”

“Guy behind the desk was very helpful, answering all my questions. The bed gave me my best nights’ sleep in a long while. The location was walking distance from a planned family gathering, the room had everything I needed, and I parked my car in a well lit area— all good! Thank you! Terry”

“It was a very quiet atmosphere and restful. Only issue we had was getting the room key to work. Had to slide it just a certain way.”

“Beautiful place to stay, great amenities, awesome staff. Beautiful set up, outdoor lights, hot tub and fire pit. Would highly recommend to any couple looking to get away, rekindle , or anniversary”

“My wife and I were on a trip to an area where I have been going to my entire life. The stay at this establishment was fist rate and all of the staff were very helpful. We will recommend to family and friends.”

“Third floor ice machine was noisy. Elevator bell is too way too loud can be heard down the whole floor. Still best hotel in Prairie du chien. Will stay again.”

“Extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. Has both interior and exterior room access. Convenient location for a small town. Highly recommended.”

“The hotel is old, but the room was clean and functional. The bathroom for the room we were in had a toilet that was very low which is difficult for older people, but there are accommodation rooms. Some of the staff are very nice, one not at all. Overall, it is cost effective and fine for short stays as long as you're ok with a basic room. ”

“Self check in. Never saw anyone but was sent two messages. First instructed us that we were in room 8 only to receive second message a couple of hours later saying we were instructed that room 10 was our room. I replied that we were in room 8 and we stayed there but never received a reply back. Everything worked good with check in process.”

“The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway.”
