"I was in The Tack Room, which seems to be fitted out for disabled visitors. 2 single bed, but both too firm to be comfortable for me. Quirky mixture of old and a bit newer, but had charm and character. Very quiet location. Nice breakfast, though sausages were a bit peppery."

"Property was immaculate. The garden was a joy to be able to sit out and enjoy the scenery. To stargaze was wonderful and it was so peaceful. The bed was so comfortable, it was our best nights sleeps for a long while. We only had to contact the host having left our house keys in the property and she was most helpful in arranging their return. WE will undoubtedly return."

"Nice surprise as got croissants juice and biscuits in room. Room was adequate as above the bar. Nice friendly staff willing to help. Room could have been decorated to a better standard. "

"Location is great with lots of free parking options nearby including EV chargers. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and warm. On the downside was the fact that our room was just above the pub and on Saturday night was very loud until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. So make sure to ask for a room on higher floor. Regarding the breakfast one day we had the eggs Benedict which were not good as the hollandaise sauce was too watery, scrambled and bland. The 2nd day we had the English breakfast which was very good and I would definitely recommend it. The breakfast continental buffet could have more fruit options (only apple and oranges were available) and should be refilled regularly which wasn’t the case."

"A lovely, cosy, clean and well equipped cottage. Conveniently located for walks in Cheviots or the many beautiful coastal villages.We watched lovely sunsets from the garden.As the cottage is very close to the road there was traffic noise - especially at commuter times, however this would not stop us from returning to this lovely cottage which is great value for money.Thank you to the owners."
